BIADA’s Big Move: ₹350 Crore Investment Approved for Bihar

Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has approved 20 new industrial projects involving a proposed investment of nearly ₹350 crore, with the potential to generate around 2,300 jobs across Bihar.

The approvals were cleared during a Project Clearance Committee meeting held under Bihar’s Industries Department. BIADA also allotted close to 30 acres of industrial land to investors across multiple locations in the state.

The approved projects cover a wide range of sectors, including food processing, software development, pre-engineered building fabrication, furniture manufacturing, PVC and uPVC pipe production, compressed biogas, healthcare services, and general manufacturing. The units will be set up in key industrial areas such as Kumarbagh, Begusarai, Hajipur, Patliputra, Bariyarpur, and Sasaram, further strengthening Bihar’s distributed industrial ecosystem.

Major companies associated with the approved projects include Bharat GPS Bioenergy, Crispano Foods & Beverage, SP Institute of Workforce Development, Experia Prefaxo, Rayush Healthcare, and Makhayo Foods.

State officials said the initiative is expected to accelerate Bihar’s industrial and technological development while creating significant employment and skill-based opportunities for local youth.
